You’ll learn how to pray, as both an art and a skill. And since we know the power of relationships, The Encounter is designed to be used in your personal prayers, but also, in tandem with others in your community. A truly parish-driven initiative that marries the best of personal prayer with the accountability and bond that can only come in community.
Participating is easy.
1. Choose how you want to participate in The Encounter. Are you a digital person? Download our free app to your favorite device. Prefer to hold a physical prayer book in your hand? Order one of the little blue prayer books on our website.
2. Commit to praying the three short prayer sessions each day. Each session is less than ten minutes, many less than five. The impact on your calendar is small, but the benefit of daily prayer is extraordinary.
Without prayer, our spirit shrivels, our hope fades, and our joy diminishes. With prayer, our soul quickens, our vision clarifies, and our Christian life is fulfilled.
